Brand Strategy and UI/UX Design, 2016
Black Bird Pizza is a branding project I created while interning at Hype Group, a full branding agency in St. Petersburg, Florida. I created a simplistic, farm house style while adding a rough texture to the mark and assets with a pop of unexpected color. In addition to the branding system I developed a UI/UX design for web and mobile.

Challenge: Marketopia is a marketing agency in the tech space and is unique in the fact that they offer all digital marketing services to both MSPs (Managed Service Providers) and vendor clients. I wanted each client to clearly be able to choose which services they needed by quickly identifying which type of client they were and which path to take as soon as they visit the site, but still getting the same user experience on each side.
Solution: Once the client lands on the homepage, they can quickly identify who they are and what services they may want. In case they still weren’t convinced of what Marketopia could offer them, I added visual examples of the work they offer that has made other Marketopia clients successful. In addition to the UI/UX design, I created a landing page that functions as a “getting leads and more profit” calculator, that the clients can use to see how man leads they would need to hit their target profit number.
In addition to creating the UI/UX design and rebrand for Marketopia, I am Marketopia’s Lead Designer and Design Team Manager. I oversee a team of 4 Web and Graphic Designers and provide them with UI/UX art direction for all web projects.
I completed this logo design while interning at Stevie and Fern, a branding agency in St. Pete, Florida. The Pelican Pub is a classic dive bar, well known by the locals of St. Pete, Florida. The logo was inspired by an original stained glass portrait of a pelican the owner purchased when the bar first open many years ago.

These three logos were designed to compete in a local logo competition for the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce. This was a collaborative effort by myself and partner Hampton Lamoureux. As students, we were chosen to represent the graphic design department at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. We went with three different themed logo marks; a vintage mark representing our city’s history, a nod to the iconic bridge leading you into the city, and a one line illustration of a pelican which represents the arts cultural with an iconic Florida bird.

This beer packaging for 3 Daughters Brewing represents the local event every Tampa Bay family knows, Gasparilla. Using a fun illustration and light color scheme, I created a pirate themed “Walk the Plank- Session IPA”. In addition to the can design I created a six pack package design.

Password Please is a fictitious museum exhibition about the history of speakeasies. The exhibit would be shown at the Whitney Museum, offering viewers a chance to experience original photography, artifacts and even a bar and lounge area designed to feel like a real speakeasy. I created a full brand strategy as well as a complete UI/UX design for desktop, laptop, and cell phone platforms.

We were challenged by the Williams Park Partnership, in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida to revitalize the park’s atmosphere and attract an active demographic. After meeting with WIPA Partnership, a revitalization committee, our group decided to focus on the lack of safety at night, seating, and overall event promotion. Urban lights was a collaborative solution which included adding LED, cube structures for seating which also serves to illuminate the park and help with navigation at night. Our package design was inspired by the cube form and contained an events calendar, reusable water bottle, a blanket and a “grub card”. This “Wonder Box” would be a subscription box locals could purchase to help fund and promote the park.
